Online history of the Incas - need feedback

Hello,

I've just launched a new site after being inspired by doing the Inca Trail in Peru, any constructive feedback would be very welcome ;) Thanks!

The site is at http://trailingincas.info - there's a lot to read and it's been proof read once, so I'm mainly after feedback about the site design, layout, usability etc.

It looks nice but maybe that red color in left frame is too contrasted with white background. Also I think it would look nicer if you include more images in middle frame.

Thanks, I agree. Regarding the images situation, I'm probably going to juggle things around after the site gets established and I add adsense/affiliate stuff to it, but yeah it's a sea of text right now!

I suggest you to add some more images into the left column
but the main idea is fantastic :)

I envy you for being there. It is one of my dream destinations. I enjoy the website but I need you need more pics along with the several articles. Other than thad, the design looks cool and clean and the articles look great ( thou I have not read them all yet, but I will bookmark this site and visit it often)

Very nice project. I agree with statements above about adding images. I've seen some magnificent agricultural photos of Inca villages and structures.

I took quite a few while I was there, so I'll have a look through sometime soon and try and match some up with the content!
