I'd like some honest opinions on what the best affiliate programs are to start with? Can anyone give me some advise from their experience?
Thanks much.

There is no best, but the right program for you.
You need to test yourself to find which converts well and can bring you the maximum profits.

The best results I've obtained so far were by selling direct commission products that use the 7dollar and Rapid Action Profit scripts. You get paid instantly into your Paypal account, there is no waiting for commission checks nor any chance of being scammed by unscrupulous vendors.
ClickBank is also a valid option, the main problem being the amount of refunds and commission thefts, specially if you promote IM products.

Honestly I am saying you should go for CPA. It is the only way to start with. I recommend CPALead. I have a lot of experience with almost all ad programs and affiliate sites. CPALead can make you a winning webmaster. If your site is in my referral list in CPALead I can help you more.

Thanks for all the information guys. I will definitely check out CPALead seeing how I'm a little more interested in money per lead instead of money by sales.
Thanks again.

Personally, I think Amazon Associates is the best affiliate system to go with as a starter because you really do not need to do much persuading since the majority of online shopping savvy demographics are familiar and trusts Amazon.

In this method you need someone to purchase a product. So i recommend you to promote free stuffs which are very interesting and add a survey gateway to the download/content page. This will help you to make more money as users getting the stuff for free. :)

The acceptance program for enterance (the test) that its given to you is great for newcommers, myself, I learned a lot from it and its also a nice starting point -> ClickBooth.

There are same herbal affiliate programs worth to try. It's easy to integrate their banners on every site, or actually to create own shop.

I would say a great start would be CPALead. Extremely helpful staff, and they will handle the logistics of displaying the highest converting offers. You simply need to throw up their javascript and sit back to see the conversions roll in. All you need is traffic, and preferably something "valuable" that they will be willing to do a survey to view.

Any network which has good products according to your requirements. Don't go with CB, it is full of junk products.

Start with clickbank, but you need your own landing page, and choose the right products

Does CJ has a Survey Program ?
The answer is no Once they had but they stopped it now, just because of competitors :)

I'm going to randomly recommend Market Leverage and Logical Media. I've had the most success with those two. And frankly, I'm still pretty much a n00b at marketing.
But I've been paid by both, so that might say something...

I would check out MoreNiche. A very solid network with a great product lineup as well as a ton of affiliate resources.

There is no best affiliate program. You need to find your abilities and test different offers accordingly. and once you get the best affiliate offer, sign up for the program which pays highest amount of commissions for that offer.
thanks,
J

That's a good point. In fact, many affiliates join lots of networks, so they have a wider variety of ads to choose from. If there are duplicate campaigns, run the highest paying one. If it's not very high paying but works, and there's nothing else better than that campaign, run it. It's better to make .20 per lead than .00.

ClickBank is a good start for beginners.
Affiliate Programs like Clickbank is not for beginners. You need thousands of unique visitors to earn with such affiliate programs.
For beginners i recommend CPALead. If you have a good content based site/blog then you can earn much by adding a gateway to your site. A single line code can help you to earn big money :)

CJ works only for big sites having many visitors.
If you have a content based site/blog then you must use a CPA gateway

Best Wishes You are welcome to our CPA networks
If you have some interesting stuffs in your site the just place a single line code and your first step to online money making is done.
The next thing to do is bringing traffic. I recommend making blogs and posts in blogger and digg it with attractive headlines or images of your content :)
Your Paypal Account will be flooded!
