Ive got a forum thats linked to my website (however for now 99% traffic is on the forum) Not sure whats the best way to count traffic/stats etc

Is there any downsides to using google analtics? I remember reading somewhere that there was something that wasnt good about it and I cant remember what.

Anyone got any suggestions on what to use? Want something ideally thats counting unique hits, pageviews, country origin, how long spent on site, more the better basically.

Thanks

I use twatch to see visitor stats, it shows loads of details. I think you would be surprised, however it does not monitor bandwidth.
My webhost has Awstats and Webalizer to monitor traffic. For me this combination works well.

I use StatCounter on one of my sites and it seems pretty good to me. I sure there are other programs out there that do more but it is perfect for my needs and has a nice clean interface as well.

I use Awstats and google analytics. I prefer ga due to the features, etc. They both have their faults thou, so used together they work well.
