Blog commenting-blog url vs. ecommerce url? Which is better?

While not scientific I am finding an enormous difference between blog commenting with my e commerce url and my blog url's.
I have been banned by akismet, or whatever you call it when commenting with my e commerce url's. I then started using my blogs url exclusively to try and get some backlinks to them although not for any other reason, like testing akismet.
What I have found is the ban is no longer working- suggesting that the url used is a factor, and I have yet to get the dreaded white screen.
Is this because the url matters and other blogs are deemed more acceptable to bloggers and the settings, if there are any or is there some other reason I am ignoring or ????

I would imagine that at some point you or the domain have been deemed as spam - what kind of comments do you leave? are they loaded with links? also what are the ecommerce URLs like - are they a collection of letters and numbers?

no blog owner likes their blogs to be spammed. using an anchor text and a commercial/ecommerce URL can be considered as spam by lot of blog owners and some might even report to akismet. using personal blog URL is a common practice which can be viewed as OK by blog owners.

Many blog owners only want to link to blogs and forums in their comments and they explicitly mention that in their comment policy (pixelheadonline comes to my mind). Some would even visit the URL being linked to (even if comment is great) and might 'spam' the comment if they don't like the site.
