$15 Logo Overhaul [72 hours]

I need a redesign for the following logo of a web hosting service. The text are to remain so only the logo itself need to be updated to something more relevant to web hosting. The new logo should have a Web 2.0 and professional feel. I prefer to keep the squarish design of the logo but am open to new ideas. The content within the logo definitely needs changing. The colour scheme should remain more or less the same. Lastly, the new logo should be brandable.

This contest will be open for 72 hours or until a winning logo is chosen. I reserve the right not to choose a winner if the entries are not good enough. Payment will be made only via PayPal.

gestalt: I would like to have the colour scheme to stay as it was. Changes to be made only to the logo, the text will remain as the current one used. Your concept looks good though I can't really see clearly.

debitcredit: Nice concept but I don't really like the idea of the mouse there though I like what you did with the globe-like design.

imhawk: Nice concept. I do agree that the first entry looks better.

debitcredit: I actually like it without the servers unless the servers are in blue motif as well.

att_kiara: Looks good but I would like to have the border from the previous logo back.

att_kiara: Can you insert the white faded border like the current logo?

Hazrd: Sorry but it looks a bit like a template logo design.

CR70: The concept is not bad but as I wrote in my first post, I would prefer to keep the logo squarish.

onlyfights: Can you use the logo with the current text? Your concept will be better if you can have the design into the square that I am using now. Something like what the earlier entries did.

onlyfights: May I know if the dotted effects on one of the rings on purpose?

debitcredit: Can you remove the drop shadow or the design within the square? The design looks good so far.

onlyfights: Can you try a version with solid lines instead and switch the grey for blue for the ring?

onlyfights: Actually, I meant changing the grey ring to another shade of blue and use white as the stoke for both rings. The earth looks very good at the moment.

ORin: I should warn you about working with debitcredit. He was awarded my project, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1350608, and it has still not been completed. He was paid early at his request, but refuses to make the requested modifications OR send me the source files. So I'm now stuck with images that can not be modified. Plus, he broke all my coding when he attempted to implement it into his new design. He does great graphic work, not doubt about it. But, unless you are 100% sure the graphic he submitted to you here in your thread is exactly what you want and will never, ever need tweaking or modification, you might want to consider a different provider.
