Hello all,

During the last week, I have noticed two completely new type of spam in all my blogs.

One of them was normal spam comments but instead of linking back to their site, they linked to http://www.google.com

The other was just totally random gibberish... But LOADS of them.. I get about 10 comments on each of my posts and blogs - and I have quite of a few.

An example of the second is attached below:

nfSUTp gnbkgpawjlvz, jymlxekyguly (http://jymlxekyguly.com/), aiqnrbampzgh, http://iblwiagzufcn.com/

Has anybody else seen any of these two or am I the only one?? What's the point of it?

We get the same thing every day. We still haven't been able to figure out what they are doing.

My theory is that these spammers are first doing a "test run" on their link spamming lists to see where their message "sticks" and probably in a couple of months down they'll clean their "spam list" to only abuse, with real links, the sites that have provided a back link to their ghost domains.

Makes sense... a test run.

Thanks for your input
