Guys there is with out a doubt a sandbox. My site open in January and today I when't from not being able to be found in google to #8. I'd like to be in the top 5 by summer time but im happy happy happy. My keyterm is "saltwater fly fishing". Any tips getting me the few extra spots. I believe once I get some pr that my coop weight will shoot up and I'll be able to get up those rankings. Thanks again guys for all the help. Hopefully this will produce some quality traffic.

Please disregard my spelling I'm quite excited.

What about PerfectGamers (http://perfectgamers.net) , I am not sure what a sand box is but we are not even on google and from Yahoo! we use to have 700 pages indexed now we have 6 MSN is the only place that indexes us, please for gods sake someone help me out here, I have ask everyone if one person takes some time to show a newb how to get indexed I would be extremely greatful.

Please do something for a stranger, studies have shown that when you help someone you don't know that you are actually doing something for your health so be good to yourself and help me DAMNIT!

*FYI: I shouldn't be in the sand box, our site was made in Jan. 1, 2005.

** Don't say backlinks either, we have about 300+ backlinks

Great result for a site than opened recently. Are you getting much traffic from google?
I have a site than went great in google for a while but suddenly dropped big time, after about 6 months it got better but it still gets more hits by yahoo.

The keyword term is "saltwater fly fishing"

It is kind of a competive niche. Adsense bids for the top spot are about $2.50. I'd like to get above the fold. I wish I would bring in more engine traffic. Here are my stats for this month as of today (I got out of the sandbox today)

- MSN 98 98
- Google 79 79
- Yahoo 11 11
- AOL 3 3
- DMOZ 2 2

I'll keep you posted every few days and see what difference it makes.

By the way these google searchers don't click my ads like other searchers.

couple of months to go then (6 months is a good measure)

so be good to yourself and help me DAMNIT!
.............erm..... ;)

actually you will be fine with 300+ backlinks... just a waiting game now,
should be 600+ backlinks by the time you get out of the sandbox, cos you are working on it, right ?? ;)

Ok, so I may still be in the sandbox? Does Yahoo! have a sandbox?

See the thing is, I got this domain and the site was up on Januruary 1st, 2005 so then is it abnormal to still be in the sandbox now?

Thanks!

i just said in the last thread.... 6 months is a good measure...don't expect anything before that.

does Yahoo have a sandbox? Apparently not, but there are those (including me) that believe that it does.....
whether they have or not, they are incredibly slow adding sites, and updating and fully indexing. (read the yahoo forum up top)

Just went to check out your site and it was dead. What's up with that?

Three hundred backlinks might be good or it might not. Depends on what kind of anchor text you've used, what sites they're on, and where they point. Have you optimized your content? Have you asked for a site review in the Site Reviews folder?

#6 Now, which places my barely above the fold on my screen. Need 1 more spot, just need one more and I'll be happy. Anyone want to do some link exchanges I'm almost there?

Traffic has had a slight increase but nothing special. One new member today. Hopefully I start getting this ball rolling. Using "saltwater fly fishing -adffasf - adff" trick it seems I will be up to the #4-5 spot any time now. I'll keep my figures cross and keep you updated

- MSN 110 110 (#2 in MSN)
- Google 91 91
- Yahoo 11 11
- AOL 3 3
- DMOZ 2 2

Good luck with that :)

I used to say that on the roulette table...just one more win...
and leave some hours later empty handed.

anywhere on page 1 is good, there are only 691,000 results for your keyword...so a move up should be really easy.

That's great!

What I don't get is that I thought that sites were being released from the SB in batches, like at the Allegra update. Is anyone else seeing their sites escape now, or is it just mizt's?
