Hi

1) I am owner of the website www.allindiaclub.com and am also new to SEO. Can you give me suggestions of how to optimize the page for keywords "Indian business directory". "Indian jobs" and "Indian matrimonial". Currently my google ranking for following keywords is

Indian business directory : 133
Indian jobs : 37
Indian matrimonial : N/A

2) I have changed the tags and contents of this page about 15 days back. The stats of the site shows googlebot has visited the site still why does the search results show old tags and old contents in the cached pages.

Educate a novice.

Harish

Create yourself a signature containing links to your site with your desired keywords as the anchor text.

Whenever you post to this forum your rankings (may) increase........

Misohoni, how is this post any different from yours... Where to get cheap domains, how to send wood... etc. All answers can be found on Google yet because of this community's expertise someone might decide, and has the right to post it here. If you don't want to answer, just leave it.

The same question has been answered for others so why not for Harish?

I won't because I don't have time ans ideally would like to see Harish find out himself but you don't have to give him any stick for asking...

Harish you must read this forum, either bit by bit or by using the search button and look for something that you may need.

Now you are going to say how do I know that - well first read a little then search for more information from that which you have learned from reading - and down the bottom of each thread there is other similar topics which you can follow.

Also put your site onto the review website forum here and then follow up the advice from that by asking.

To start giving all the advice straight up would be wrong as it would not allow you to use your head to find out also - so enter the forum and start asking questions and putting forward problems and see what happens. :)

Here is something to get you started

Your title is:

Allindiaclub.com offers Indian business directory, indian jobs, indian matrimonial

So is the keyword phrase for your first important phrase "indian business directory", just that, or is it "Allindiaclub.com offers Indian business directory" as you have written it in the code?

And where is your H1 header "indian business directory" to follow?

Good luck :)

As I see a site where quite some quality work has gone in here are some teasers from me:

site is split into three main areas and you target three phrases so I asume you have asked all the entries in your directories to link back using one of three targetet anchors ?

Why do the pages in the directories have the same title ? Not to speak of desk and key....

Can a crawler find each and every page easily?

Sitemap has about 10 entries but you have many many more pages.....

Who told you about revisit tag (shoot'em)

Foxy hinted - find standard on page optimisation

Personal dislike changing colous of live help 2-3 times to make sure visitor knows it's there is fine but permanent distracts.

Nice site

I would break up that blue text into at least two paragraphs. It's hard to 'scan' it with your eyes without any headers too. Try sticking in a h1/h2/h3/h4 tag which also helps Google spider determine what the site is about.

'matrimonial under one domain ' you forgot the . / full stop.

Google reports 7 Incoming Back Links a.k.a. IBLs. Try get hundreds with the anchor text ..>your main KW</a> if you can. Considering there is a huge Indian community in London/UK who also might be interested in your services to a degree, try and find some site's from this side of the globe to exchange links with.

Submit your site to www.dmoz.org Open Source Directory

The layout of all pages isn't really consistent which makes it hard to navigate IMO.

Under Business the Nav bar is at the top, under others to the left. This spaghetti style layout will be found complicated by many I think. This page http://www.allindiaclub.com/asps/user_idlogin.asp is VERY colourful. Bit too for my liking.

But hey, we aren't on a design forum here so stick to the on page SEO basics of <b>bold</b> text KW's, H tagged KW's, KW's on top of the page, good meta description. And Off page SEO, as many links as you can get from good sites with the correct anchor text.

Good luck!
