Unfortunately, I didn't select the auto renew feature, and several of my domains are in redemption status. The domains are registered with Bluehost, and the redemption fee is $70 if I want to get them back. Is there a cheaper way to renew them - perhaps with a different domain registration company - or am I stuck paying the $70 fee to get them back? Thanks!

If these are good domain names and you don't get them out of redemption, they might go into an auction. Then if no one buys them they will be dropped. This is only contingent if your registrar deos dropped domain auctions.
If they are valuable to you and you really want them pay the money if not move on and find other domain names.

Thanks for your reply. I'm definately going to pay the $70 fee on one of them, because it usually earns about twice that each month - the other ones I'm going to let go and see if I can snatch up the ones I want after the redemption period ends.

IMO,if the domain have high PR,then its worth to redeem it.
Or you can wait until the domain dropped and the reregister it.

Since the domain is in the redemption period, you have to pay $70. There is no other way. Or second option is you can wait until the domain is available for registration in an open market.
