I have blocked my IP from analytics to show fairer results, is there a way of blocking everyone in my company, is there a larger IP that the whole office would go through, or would I have to block each individual IP?

I would think your whole office would share one ip address. You can check it by going to ipchicken.com from a few different computers to see if they're at the same ip address.

If each computer really does have a separate ip address, are they a consecutive range? I think you could use regular expressions in analytics to exclude a range of ip addresses. Something like 123\.456\.789\.[12-98]

I use Google Analytics on one of my sites (just a few pages though). I always wondered that too. Thanks for the info ColeenB.

Can someone please explain how you can block an IP through Analytics?

Thanks so much in advance - I didn't even know it was possible.

to block one IP address you just go in to the Filter Manager section of analytics and just exclude certain IP's. Very useful if you spend a lot of time on your own site as you will create invalid results like visitors spend on average 4hrs on your site, when 99% of that time is yourself.
