I checked my Awstats for the first 7 days of this month and was faced with this. Is someone spamming yahoo mail users with a link to my site?!
If I scroll down there are three or so pages of similar referral pages. Is there anyone from Yahoo who I should email about this?

I did see that as well in my logs but only a couple of times. I assumed someone e-mailed their friend a link to my site but in your case I would be concerned as well.

I find keeping good communications with the search engines to be very wise. Anytime you have a question or concern simply email them, it takes only a few minutes and in my opinion can save you big $$$
You do not need to even email them the url or anything, just ask the question and for guidance from them.

This is not about search engine. He is getting many visits from yahoo mail, meaning that there are links to his site in people e-mails. And he is concern about a posible spam activity targeting his site.

do you have any page that is specifically for redirection to other pages? something like
http://www.mysite.com/redirect.php?url=xxxsite.com
i saw quite a number of spams using non-profit orgs sites or even gov sites to redirect to spam sites.

Hmm... I run a proxy, would someone be linking to a site through the proxy?
I'll give that a thought. I'm also in need of a banner advertiser who's willing to advertise on proxified pages. I'm getting a ton of impressions daily. :P
