Around 1-2 days ago, i bought a domain (rydahms.org) and i have updated it to point to my web host name servers at (altushost.com). it's been about 24-36 hours and my domain still shows that page load error crap. i done this lots of times before and it takes less than a day, no.. less than 6 hours to update the DNS.

i'm not sure whats wrong this time but when i check this website at

http://whois.domaintools.com/rydahms.org

it shows that all information SHOULD be correct.

so.. i'm not sure what the problem is... should i continue waiting?

help thanks =D

rydahms.org is resolved in my browser, I don't see any errors.....

BTW, I'm browsing it from Malaysia. :)

Just checked and your site is working fine.
My location is Berlin.

Yes, the nameservers take maximum of 48 hours to propagate across the world. I have checked the DNS report of your domain and it is pointing to your current webhost server, However, the A record is missing.I am not sure. You better check with the hosting provider.

hmm. it seems everyone is saying that site is working but how come when i go to this page:

whois.domaintools.com/rydahms.org

it saids: Domain Status: Registered And No Website

?? some people say they can access the website but some people can't.

EDIT: my web host providers saids they said the website is working fine.

but why is domaintools showing it up as "registered and no website"?

and there is an image on the right that says img.domaintools.com/not-resolving.gif

Its been slow lately, years ago it used to be like less than an hour and my DNS updated. Now it takes 8+ hours.

Things look fine for me too. What registrar are you using? With godaddy, I notice name server changes almost instantly.
