Frankly that is a great directory for local businesses with addresses. Assuming everything gets spidered, the addresses will additionally help businesses with regard to getting "citations". The citations with addresses help with getting higher rankings in google maps.

No, that was a serious compliment. Additionally I submitted two sites and got a very fast confirmation. Thanks.

I was commenting on the fact that the directory asks for address information if the sites submitted have hard addresses.

That is of additional value to websites which represent businesses or organizations with a hard address.

The address information, if the pages are spidered, are picked up by either the Google Maps, or Yahoo or MSN/Bing versions of Local.

The address information is considered something called a "citation". Definitely within Google, and probably with the other engines, that assists in getting the business ranked higher for local searches. Its a bonus.

Nice going.

nofollow links are of no use to anyone. it would be great if you can offer dofollow links.

Thank you for your directory suggestion. I have checked by software and found that links are nofollow. Beachea, please check again.

I want to submit my sites.
But please enable "dofollow"
You only have to add the code <meta name="robots" content="dofollow" />
That's it.

hmm I believe I corrected the problem, if there was one. I thought I had it on dofollow. It should work now

All I get is the following:

'Sorry, the page you were looking for cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Error: (DNS) - click the back button to try another link. '

It appears the directory is off line now.

I finally got around to checking if it was using a no-follow rule.

If so, the entire directory becomes useless and I need to retract (take back) the compliments I left earlier.

When unable to connect to the directory I searched further and found this reference. It certainly suggests the directory developer established no-follows at the beginning.

1. is there a way to automatically set nofollow to links with no recip? and, if so, is this a good idea?

2. is there a way to allow automatic approval for links?
