Will Optigold support the conversion from Surepay to Yourpay?

We currently use SurePay as our CC processor. They (Surepay) are converting their operation to a new gateway called YourPay. What do I need to do to make Optigold work with the YourPay gateway?

I imagine it will. It will require an update from the CCAuthorize guys, but they have always done things like that in the past.

Any idea when they might get around to this? Do they even know about it? Surepay bites the dust in mid-July. After that, its YourPay or the highway.

The move from surepay to yourpay had problems and was delayed by YourPay until Jan 1. That time is coming fast. I have not seen anything on this list about how to make OptiGold work with YourPay. Is there any input on this situation?

I will be updating CCAuthorize for the new YourPay/LinkPoint API before they finally cut SurePay's api off. According to person I spoke to on the phone today, it's been extended until jan 31, 2005. I'll likely post a note in the forum if Shawn doesn't announce the availability of the update.

The new LinkPoint API has been added to the Acme Technologies' CCAuthorize Payment Processing plugin now, and DigitalPoint is working on the update. SurePay becomes YourPay and YourPay.com uses LinkPoint, so you should be fine.

I'm sorry to all users affected by the LinkPoint update that it's coming so late. It was quite involved work and jockeying for attention along with many other urgent projects. Story of my days, sadly.

When I try to process a credit card payment, I now get this back in response:

General failure: com.purepayments.biz.DisabledMerchantException: XYZ COMPANY INC is disabled.

I assume this means YourPay has finally pulled the plug on SurePay. Any word on when the LinkPoint update for CCAuthorize, and subsequent OG update, will be ready? My credit cards (via OG) are now dead in the water.

Shawn was working on it a few days ago.

In the meantime, you can begin to prepare for the update by making sure you've requested and received your digital key file (should be named <yourlogin_id>.pem. Shawn will post a URL where you can pass that file through to create the .pk12 file that CCAuthorize will require. That pk12 file will be put in your "FileMaker Java Extensions" folder, which itself is inside the FileMaker Pro application folder.
