Question about Paypal Business account.

By accident I clicked on UPGRADE TO BUSINESS ACCOUNT in paypal and now paypal wants my credit card info and other personal info again.

I had a regular account, is there a way to cancel the business account and return to the regular account type?

There should be a Downgrade button somewhere and if not, you can just contact them to have it reverted.

If you can not have it reverted by contacting them, you are allowed one business/premier account and one personal account. Just create a new personal account.

I think you can not downgrade only an option to close the account.

Well I dont reallly mind having the account, but a business account sounds MORE EXPENSIVE.

It might be more expensive but it allows you to accept payments from Paypal members paying using a Credit Card. I find that quite a lot of them are doing that even if it is just for $15. What I have is a Personal Paypal account and a Business Account, I will get those paying via Credit Card to pay me through my Business Account and those doing a paypal to paypal transfer to send to my personal account. This way you save on the charges of the personal account. I do tag a few dollars discount for those paying me from their paypal account and no one minds. :)

Go to Help and type in 'Downgrade Account', it will tell you to use the Contact Form to request for a downgrade.

I have downgraded my account, it allows you to do it. just send support an email and it should be done. After i downgraded they sent me an email saying if you upgrade again they wont downgrade it. So they allow you to downgrade only once.
