I just talked to a publisher that is involved in an Adsense test/trial of ads that the publisher themself has a lot more control over in terms of size of the ad (not choosing just from a few pre formatted sizes) and the number of ads shown per ad block. Full details at Pro Blogger (http://www.problogger.net/archives/2005/04/13/adsense-developing-fully-customizable-ads-blocks/).

This would mean publishers can make their ads so much more integrated into their sites which would definitely interest me as a publisher.

I thought this option was always available for their "Premium" customers. Is that not what the Blog is seeing or am I missing something.

I doubt it only because getting any consistency would be a disaster. Ozii, are you saying this will be provided for all publishers. The Blog doesn't seem to indicate that.

I'm not saying it WILL be offered to all publishers but at least some (if not all) of the sites they are testing this on are not of 'premium publisher' traffic levels which MIGHT indicate that they might be opening it up to the smaller publisher also which would certainly make it more attractive to many in comparison to what they currently offer.

Full cusomization would be very neat. There are several things I'd like to change about the ads desplayed on my site.

One thing I'd really like to change is the fonts

I would rather see that google will show what I earned per ad and which ad is doing the best etc. But i guess that is probably the same thing as kissing the pope... it will never happen.
