Hello,

This contest is a 10 days one (but can be less if I find the good !).

Only needed : PSD (with good and logic layers for future integration).

I am opening soon a new blog called devenirartiste.fr (it means “become an artist”).

This blog will publish many articles and auditions in order to help people who want to become artists.

My target audience is 20-30 years old.

You can see here the logo. For the header. You can change it (the quality is not good) but keep the same style please.


I would like something simple and elegant.

In fact i would like the logo to be on the left of the header.

For the colors : white, grey, back and red are the ones i prefer for this blog.

The articles have to be black font on white background.

Blog size infos
3 columns

Left column : circa 175 px

Center column : circa 590 px

Right column : EXACTLY 250 px

Total width : max 1024 px

Header length : ca 175

For the logo, I just said "you can do one but keep the style of the one I attached in the post".

Hello everybody,

Inj3ct, please read again the post. I didn't say that I wanted green color. Your design is not as well-down as the other. Thank you anyway.

RaduTRIFAN, great designs ! Here are some modifications (for the 1st one).

LOGO
- Could you try to redraw more or less the original logo.
-There are two options for the logo : either keep it in both black&red colors or just in black.

HEADER
- Could you use a light gray for the header background ? In the proposition, it is too dark and the logo does not stand out enough.
- Could you use a plain background for the header, just a texture applied on it, and it would be perfect.
- I do not want a photo in or below the header. The 3 columns are right under the header/nav bar
-As a result, the header has to be a little longer : + 20 px

POSTS
- For the post title (title, date, “published by, number of comments): do it exactly like on -http://www.artdeseduire.com (with your colors of course).

COLUMNS
- Could you try another color than white for the right and left columns. They have to be different from the posting-column color. Even if it is a tiny difference.

I do not want something very complicated or creative. Just simple, smart and effective.

The blog i am looking for is the combination of these two propositions.

On number 1, I like the format and color of the columns, and also the navigation bar.

On number 2, I like the logo, header, and the red/black background.

- For the Logo, some people cannot read it properly, so i had two ideas :

1/ either separate the “D” and the “A” (so it doesn’t look like an “R”)
2/Put the "D" and "evenir " in the one color, and "A" and "rtiste" in an another color

- Please leave some space under the logo for this baseline (in text, not image)

- work on post titles (check previous post for more info)

- For the post titles, please replace the banners containing the date by 5 branch stars containing the date (red or black ?)

- I liked your previous header / background better

- The navigation bar has 7 tabs : - Blog - Articles - Castings - E-books - Recruteurs - A propos – searchbox

What a great job !

This proposition is nearly perfect, it is very close from what we want, so now it just about a few details! here are the last modifications :

- Could you change the stars for some more traditional ones (shape like the one below) ?

- Please, no quotation marks around the baseline

The changes you asked for have been made and you can see them in this below version of the design, but the start shape you asked for is quite big here because if it would be made smaller the date wouldn't fit in or would be hardly visible so in the 3rd post there is a smaller star that has the date in it, but it has a different shape. So here is your choice regarding how you want it to look like. A small sacrifice I would say, but necessary.

Could you please make different blocs in the sidebars (Like -http://www.artdeseduire.com : Categories, Comments...).

Could you please try the links in the columns in a red color (i think poeple don’t click when links are in black because they don’t reaalize they are links).
