Google don't delete anything....even archive of the homepage!!!!

I found something interesting while surfing..

These URLs:
google.com////// (http://www.google.com//////)
google.com/intl/en////// (http://google.com/intl/en//////)
google.com/intl/en/intl/en/ (http://google.com/intl/en/intl/en/)
...will take you to an old Google homepage (copyright 2003).

And this URL:
google.com/intl/////// (http://google.com/intl///////)
...will take you to an even older homepage (copyright 2001).

Google 2001 Searching 1,610,476,000 web pages

Google 2003 Searching 3,083,324,652 web pages

The "searching X,XXX,XXX,XXX web pages" line is missing now. :D

Google removed index size number in 2005 (article about this (http://battellemedia.com/archives/001889.php))..

Very nice find! Cept this brings up a point... what if they will store our emails from gmail for a long time too! :o

Would anyone have guessed back in 1998 looking at Google - 1998 (http://web.archive.org/web/19981202230410/http://www.google.com/) that this would turn into a multi-billion dollars company???
