$50 dollar Logo Contest

I want a clean, transparent background logo that has a chrome look. I am open to chrome, black chrome, diamond plate...I want sleek, clean and simple.

Maybe a reflection effect, maybe not....I am not positive of what I want but I will know what I like when I see it.

The site is still under construction but the URL is http://planethawg.com and it is a Harley Davidson related site. NO HD trademarks of any kind are wanted.

Let's see who can come up with what. Logo needs to be Planet Hawg and we may put a catch phrase under it...feel free to be creative.

Contest will run 3 days OR until I see the logo I like.

I am not after a copy of either but I like the sleekness of one and the brandability of the other.

I want some combination of the two.....not just letters with a chrome effect. I'd like it to look unique and maybe include some kind of motorcycle reference or character as well.

Font is getting closer.....if you can incorporate some kind of branding symbol to make it stand out then it would be close.

Let me consider this one. The bike isn't a Harley Davidson in the background so that would have to be fixed. The opaque section around the Planet Hawg text...can you put an effect on the outer edge like the one in Bishop's post and give the text a more chrome look and resubmit?

Guys...I hope you don't consider this rude, but I am short of time this morning. I was going to go through and give everyone feedback but I have to get to work. If I left no feedback then your entry isn't what I am after and really isn't close. I have made several positive comments on a couple of different logos so far, so they are close to what I am after. Look at those entries and that will get you in the ballpark.

All of em are great, very talented but I just want what I want. Hope that makes sense.

Well....it would seem my two finalists have disappeared. I am trying to wrap this up, I will give each of them until tomorrow morning to respond but after that then it will be open season I guess. I am not trying to be an ass but I don't know if they will ever come back...you never know in cyberspace.

With this effect behind it...the cracked gray wall and the puff of smoke is optional...might be a nice touch...have to see it.
