I want peopl to be able to pay using credit cards and other methods and have it go to my paypal account. They want me to upgrade to a business account. Should I do this? What are the pros and cons if any?

You will have to be charged commission for every recieved money via Paypal.
If I pay you from my credit card you will pay commission, if I pay you from my Paypal balance you will pay commission. You will always pay commission.
You may use another service company to accept credit card payments. So, yo can prevent commission deductions from paypal receivings by downgrading to personal account.
