Photos of Television show

I have fan site for a Television show. I haven't placed any photos related to the show on my site because I am not sure about legal/copyright issues for doing so. Can anybody point me in the right direction on finding information about this?

It's quite simple really.

If you hold copyright on the images, then it's at your discretion. If however the photos are stills (reproductions) of a television show, you're going to have to seek permission from the copyright holders.

Copyright laws are also specific to region.

You may find that you are given permission if you state the role of the site, and your willingness to abide by their responses (copyright holders).
