Hi guys.

Firstly let me introduce myself - Im Ben from the UK and im starting a new blog all about ecommerce!

I have bought the "Fresh News" theme from WooThemes, so i am now looking to customise it!

Basically - alot of people who have this theme create their own background to give it a unique/custom look. This is pretty much what the contest it about - you creating a background for www.ecommercemole.com

As you can see my go at it isnt too good. (heres what it was originally if your interested - http://www.woothemes.com/demo/?t=6)

To give you guys a bit of inspiration here are the kind of backgrounds i like -

(Please do not blatently copy these, come up with your own ideas/design)

As you can see, where the content is, it either goes plain or the opacity is lowered so it doesn't have such a vibrant background where the content is. :)

Here is mine which i made about an hour ago which to be honest - sucks! :p

Requirements
- Some how relate to ecommerce/make money online niche
- Be 2000px wide
- Web 2.0

This one is so nice! The sizing is almost perfect but as you can see the catagory bar is a little too low on hte top.

Also the very top header could do with being stretched down a bit so the space between the writing (top and bottom) is equal. :)

Im liking the style and colours though!

ps. where the content is, the white box is a little too small. You can see where the content is bought through?

What the!!!!!!!! Still not fit............(WAhhhhhhhhh)........ ok Ok I will make it again and this time it will perfectly fit.......... and can i make the content box into a square edge and not rounded so that no more problem....... hehe

To be honest, you can see what the design will look like when it's finished, then if you select him as winner you can get him to make the changes. It seems a bit unfair to make him keep revising it if he isn't going to win (even though it's a very strong entry).

Feedback:

Apart from minor changes id request for:

-Its 1680 wide instead of 2000px like i asked.
- The top background seems a little dark? Can you lighten it up slightly please?
- The middle bit is slightly plan, any chance you can carry on the design by with a lower opacity?
- Try to make it less greeny, more of a lighter colour green but not lime green. More this kind of green:
