Capacity of Yahoo Messenger's offline message?

I am having a big monthly paid subscribers list (more than 900) and I contact them via e-mail always. Now, People feel that, it will be comfortable if I come online via Y! Messenger and chat in live instead of Mailing them. I also had this idea.

But my doubt is, if I start going in Y! Messenger, then they will send me offline messages. If a 900 people keep sending me offline messages daily, and I watch them once in a week, will all those offline message reach me? What is the capacity of Y! messenger's offline message?

I have this very bad experience as regards receiving offline messages.
I have repeatedly found that not all such messages reach you...I do not know...why? :(

It is kind of ON/OFF thing for me. Sometimes I am able to regularly receive them while at times, they just do not show up...

In short, do not rely on them completely...
