Which do you use? what's the difference, and how do you think about it?

I always found E-Gold to be a tiny bit of a hassle. As you don't just deposit money in with a credit card.
Paypal is useful, although there are always a few people who seem to loathe it.
Stormpay, I despise this payment processor. Extremely high fees and that they screwed me over... =/

I'd recommend Paypal..

I have only used one so far and that is PayPal..it is quite convenient because most of other webmasters use it too...
The only way to use stormpay as a payment processor now is to buy and sell only on stormpay auctions...if I am not wrong
Money bookers and E-gold are used ,but not much..their popularity is lesser than PayPal and they r more preferred in countries which are not accepted by PayPal

Since I haven't used M.Bookers and E-gold ,I cannot compare them with Paypal at this moment atleast...But take Paypal for wider acceptance and simplicity:)

Paypal seems to be very popular and almost everyone who can have an account would have one.

E-Gold is nice but it can get complicating because you need to buy egold from an agent and more complicating if you want to exchange egold for money.

Moneybooker seems like a nice deal but it doesn't work with all countries. It however seems to include countries which Paypal doesn't.

Stormpay can only be used as payment platform for auctions through Stormpay Auction so it probably isn't that widely used.

If you can, sign up with Paypal and use Paypal. My second choice would be MoneyBookers followed by a very distant E-gold and Stormpay is not on my list.

I know you didn't mention it but I have used all of the above mentioned and one more www.epassporte.com I personally perfer Paypal and Epassporte.com

I am not sure why epassporte.com doesn't promote it's service to more people but they offer you an ATM card to withdraw your money and a Virtual Visa that I personally use to pay many things and you can make a transaction of $500 for only 25 cents so I would say it is the lowest cost and the reciever pays nothing so more good news there is an anual fee but it is only $5 I think and the ATM card is $35 if you choose to get the ATM card it is completly optional

by the way I am not an affiliate of epassporte nor do they pay me to say this I just wish that more companies and people were ussing them instead of say paypal don't get me wrong paypal has many things epassporte doesn't and epassporte has many things paypal doesn't but I would love to see epassporte become as widely used as paypal

PayPal covers around 55 countries. All can deposit but less than half can withdraw money. PayPal can process credit cards from some countries of the 55 listed. My rating: 1 out of 5.

E-gold is anonymous and secure. No worry over chargebacks. But it's hassle to deposit and withdraw (or just say exchange the gold to dollar). My rating: 3 out of 5.

Moneybookers is very good. It covers many more countries than Paypal does, maybe even most countries. Fee is extremely low (0.5 EUR max for any amount). Deposit and withdrawal is easy and fast thru credit card, direct deposit/debit, wire transfer and check. My rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Stormpay, scammer! Don't touch it if you don't want to get burnt, seriously. 0 out of 5.

Epassporte provides debit card for use at ATM or store. They cover most countries. The con is they're eager to ban you anytime if you happen to send money to suspicious person. 2 out of 5.

i like moneybookers because they offer easy creditcard integration for shop operators who don't have to many cc payment, but still want to offer it as a service, no chargebacks (but 9% fees). getting quite popular with my customers (i'm in germany).

Paypal is an almost standard you have to offer.

don't know egold and stormpay, not too popular over here.

There are many exchangers online that will buy e-gold from you, paying you by cheque or wire transfer. Some are listed here (http://www.e-gold.com/unsecure/links.htm).

About stormpay, I'll say from experience that they have a fraud screening procedure that can only be described as excessive. They reversed a payment I had received sometime in August '05 because they couldn't contact the sender of the payment to "verify" the transaction.

Paypal is more widely used and recognized payment processor. Moneybookers is a good option and is available in few countries where paypal isn't. The good thing about egold is the transactions are irreversible.

neteller , 2Checkout, Google Checkout ???

2checkout suck because their "verification" process (https://support.2co.com/deskpro/faq.php?do=article&articleid=32) where they call your clients to verify if they have received what they ordered. It makes your website look extremely unprofessional & it is embarrassing.

Well I have yet to hear of anyone being baned from epassporte.com I have personally sent and recived over 1000 deposits over the last couple years I guess my advice would be don't do business with shaddy people in the first place becuase you are looking for trouble anyways the only real problem with epassporte that I see is that you have to be a member of epassporte to recieve and send payments that is where paypal beats them since you don't have to be a member of paypal to make payments only to recive them but any many options epassporte beats paypal and you can withdraw your money from any country in the world where there is an ATM and as far as I know you can join from pretty much any country in the world unlike paypal I do business with people in china and we have used epassporte since paypal does not yet accept accounts in china

Paypal is not suitable for me, here in Slovakia.
On beginning of my bussiness I started with Plimus. Plimus is very good and has very good support.
Now I am also using RegNow. It is very suitable for shareware authors, because a lot of shareware directories give publishers advantages when they can affiliate using Regnow. It has also very good support (especially Kelly Kn. :-)).

Paypal is OK, but can suck at times. They want to keep access to your account for ever and ever even if they dont want to do business with you anymore, check out this: http://marc.perkel.com/archives/000394.html. Listen to the MP3's of the phone calls. No one has mentioned Nochex? Nochex.com. The best thing is you dont have to be 18 to have an account (16), this is why paypal limited my account and refused to close it and delete my info.

Paypal... hands down. If you're not a fruad, and you have nothing to hide it's great. I have a premier account and I have never had any issues. Even when compliants were filed against me. They were worked out.

Egold, it seems that many fruads prefer this method over all the others because it's very anymous and their is no charge back. It's also hard to buy gold and sell it.

I have never tried the others.

Most webmasters do tend to accept PayPal more than e-gold. E-gold's main faults, as it has been pointed out, is the lack of chargebacks and trouble converting the gold to $$...
If you see most of the sales on DP, close to 4/5ths of them do take place via Paypal:)

Which do you use? what's the difference, and how do you think about it?

I use all of them to diversify choice options for my clients.

All are based in similar models but different commissions scheme.

Preferred goes from PayPal at the top, followed by StormPay, MoneyBookers and eGold in the last position, along with other options I can provide for payments.

ive had a problem with paypal where they reversed a charge on my account prematurely (paid by a buyer). The product had taken an excessive amount of time to arrive (mail issues) and the buyer was able to successfully complain and get his money back, even tho he received the product a couple days later. I was never given adequate time by paypal to verify the mail. They also promised to reverse the charges once again but never did. I have heard of similar ruthless chargebacks by paypal.

Moneybookers and e-gold are good because you dont lose on chargebacks etc.

People must be crazy to like paypal... their unfair policies, in both ebay and paypal, in order to protect their back only, is beyond telling.

Forget other paypal like processors too.. stormpay, google checkout etc.. don't put yourself in trouble. You want paypal because online money is in there. These others are same xxx different name without the pros of being popular...

I use E-Gold, E-Bullion, NetPay and Pecunix and occasionally use PayPal. Most people stick to PayPal as it is simple to accept and integrate into a website but it is not very secure and chargebacks are a pain in the arse. I prefer to accept e-currencies such as E-Gold, E-Bullion and NetPay as they are final, and when using the DXGPC they are extremly secure and best of all, the DXGPC integrates over 150 currencies into one simple interface which makes it an amazing shopping cart and it is extremly easy to integrate, manage and integrate.

I have been a DXMerchant who deals with e-currency transactions and we have been using it for a few years now.

I have nothing to do with sell-resell....just to get few $$ which i earn from my websites displaying ads/text-links....I used to believe that Paypal is the best..
But as now they have Limited my account access with giving lame reasons as "some third party tried to access my account" my opinions have started to change...now they are asking for Utility bill...heck its really tough for any student to get Utility bill cause the bills dont come with his name....anyways lets c what happens...also there are many ifs and buts in paypal....verified/unverified/add credit card, regional discrimination etc etc...

On the other hand Money Bookers process is really simple....instead of giving you pain they take the pain themselves...send u postal mail including few digits of code to verify you and after you enter the code in your account you are done with...also it supports most of the countries to transfer the money in your bank account unlike paypal....also its pretty fast....within 4-5 days money will be in your bank account....while paypal takes almost 3 weeks if you asked for the check.....so i will pick Moneybookers as the best option....

E-gold is hectic and havent used stormpay cause of their scam stories....

Moneybookers absolutely fabulous (like me)
They are the rival to paypal.

They have a lot of security in their script. You change anything you get an email telling you.IF they speed up the upload money a bit takes up to five bizz days then they will be better this is only bit of hassle with Moneybookers.
Also ebullion you get a card with pin like a bank more secure than e-gold

I use MoneyBookers, E-Gold and PayPal, I have also StormPay and AlertPay accounts, but I do not use StormPay because I remember very well the problems they were having some time ago, AlertPay, on the other hand, is new and I really know nothing about it, so that is why I don't use it.
Currently my favorite would be MoneyBookers because I have never had any problems with them. Uploading funds from my bank account takes usually less than 24h and is totally free, getting funds back to my bank account takes also usually less than 24h and is almost free. Their support might not always be the best, but I have never actually had the urgent need to contact them because everything works so perfectly.
PayPal is also tolerable, but I really hate the way they discriminate citizens of small countries. I live in Estonia, so I have "send only" account which is rather useless because to use it you have to add credit card and all payments are directly taken from your credit card (it is not even possible to just upload funds from credit card to your account) and most of the places I do my online shopping take Visa anyway, so there is no need for middleman called PayPal. Their support is faster that MoneyBookers, but they usually reply with these copy-paste answers. For example here is the latest email (they used to have different email before, I could probably find the one they used before if anyone is interested) you get from them when you ask why your country is in "send only" list:
Dear [your name],

Thanks for contacting PayPal. I appreciate the opportunity to assist you
with your questions.

Mr [yourr surname] members in some countries and regions may not use PayPal to
receive payments, but only send payments. Visit https://www.paypal.com/
and click the "PayPal Worldwide" link in the upper right corner of the
page. The countries listed under "Send Money to Anyone in the Growing
PayPal Network" cannot receive payments only send payments.

The PayPal system requires certain criteria be met to fully utilize our
system, however this is not a reflection of the customer.

PayPal is constantly working to expand and improve our services for our
customers. We hope to expand our features for these countries or regions
but due to the complexities of global finance, we cannot give a
timetable for this expansion.

As always, thanks for your suggestions.

Sincerely,
[name of the ape replying to your question]
PayPal, an eBay Company
and when you ask what are these certain criteria that has to be met, you will get no reply. Sometimes it can be really frustrating to deal with them if they keep sending the same emails all the time, it is like they don't even read the emails, that there is just one (very slow) computer that analyzes the emails for certain keywords and then sends appropriate answer.
But I have very mixed feelings about E-Gold. On the one hand, I have used them even longer than MoneyBookers and I have never had any problems with them. Also www.icegold.com, probably one of the biggest E-Gold exchangers, is Estonian based company run by Estonians, so I know I can trust them and usually they are even faster than MoneyBookers withdrawals with a bit higher, but still tolerable, fees. On the other hand, I live under a constant fear that the next time I log onto my E-Gold account I will find out that it has been hacked. I would never leave over $100 on my E-Gold account (while I would trust everything I have in the hands of MoneyBookers), my E-Gold account has not yet been hacked, but I know E-Gold has had very big problems with hackers, so never say never.

So in my opinion MoneyBookers is really the best payment processor out there, but unfortunately not many people share my opinion.

I didn't read the whole thread but I can confidently recommend ePassporte.com, It is the best method to send and receive money so far.

They allow customers from all countries, only some high risk countries are not allowed to accept money from other 'Personal' accounts. They still can send money to personal and business account. And receive money from Business accounts. The number of such countries is very small.

Another best thing is that they offer ATM card to all countries, so you have access to your funds right after receiving from other corner of the world.

They do not ban you, they do not eat your money, they are making themselves much better.

ePassporte is simply 'the best' as far as I know, and I have been with them for 1.5 year without any problem.

And yes, if you do not have a credit card to open a new account. You can ask an existing customer to open a gift account for you. It is so flexible option. But be careful, you gifted account then remain tied with your sponsor's account and in case his account get suspended for any bad reason, you automatically come under consideration but still, they don't eat money they will provide you a couple of options to get your funds back.

ePassporte is BEST, Use them.
