Hello guys to build up my portfolio i am offering my services at a special price

I will make your phpbb seo friendly for $25 (normally $50)

Changes the URLs for your phpBB forums from dynamic URLs such as:

/forums/viewtopic.php?t=283

To a more "friendly" counterpart:

/forums/ptopic283.html

Removes the session ID from URLs for search engine spiders. For example:

/forums/viewtopic.php?sid=8y923h9fh9e8f98adf98ah9h4fr

Would appear to the specified search engines as:

/forums/viewtopic.php

But normal users will still receive a SID so it does not impact sessions.

If anyone would like to take me up on this offer contact me :)

Do you implement all of the recommendations in Craven de Kere's excellent article on optimizing phpBB for SEO (http://www.internet-search-engines-faq.com/phpbb-optimize-search-engine.shtml)?

Lol dont want to interfer with your knowledge etc. But i would recommend the others to have a look at the craven file. Its easy to do them yourself.

I believe thats why he is only charging $25. You could do it yourself or pay him that money to spend the 10 minutes on it.

Webjunkie has stated in the past that he knows no html or php but for $25 you can't fault the guy

I know but the craven file doesnt not only allow you to remove the statics etc but there are plenty other features that are included and could be important for phpbb forum webmasters. But thats just my opinion and of course the 25 bucks is worth the money as long it is done right. ;)

WebJunkie, I think you should consider trying new methods like google keyword URLs than using able2know mod.

If you are interested, PM me i will let you know how will they look and there are some more tweaks that will outperform able2know mod.

btw, do you have any sitemap . lofi thing for phpbb ?

I wasn't giving you a hard time as its worth it to a lot of people for $25. You have to remember there are a lot of experienced webmasters who can easily do this themselves so they are going to post their own opinions.

There is a whole another section of people who just want to run a forum, have no knowledge of Mod_Rewrite et all, and would rather just give somebody a couple of bucks to do it for them. I'm not sure if those people are here though.

Good Luck

Hi,

Even I do not have much knowledge about coding, but implementing able2know could be done easily. I have used that mod for my forum (www.gutfeel.com/forum) at Gutfeel.com
