XY7.com will be on the show now, instead of AzoogleAds according to ShoeMoney's blog.

I think they quickly registered that they would be boomed with questions like...

When will you approve our accounts?
Why do you have a bad data push like Google does?
Why do you do a very poor job at communicating with webmasters that apply?

That was pretty rude of them, hey Shoemoney I just started with affiliates after XY7.com's show!

**E-Mail harvesting (not spamming) is a pretty fun idea :)

I just signed up. I hate how they demand a SSN -- I normally enter that AFTER I get accepted, not before.

I just entered 000-00-0000 for the time being. I hope they don't mind.

Why???

I would think if you wanted to get into Azoogle you would complete the application the right way. Kind of looks like you have something to hide.

Nice job. You just banned yourself from the program. Lying is not the way to go when you join affiliate programs. Verifying info, like having a phone call is one reason why they are as slow as a slug at approving affiliates.

If you're so freaked out about giving out your social security number, get a Employer Identification Number. It's not hard to get one. If a wacko can get one, any one can!! :D

all you had to do was leave it blank, here is what happened for me..

I didn't remember my number offhand, so I left it blank and a few days later I called and asked to speak to a customer support agent.

If you call them, you have a little chat about your website info and advertising-related stuff and they will approve your account on the spot (takes a half hour to login to your account)

Anyway, you have to MAIL your W9 Form and SS ID (you cannot fax it) to the address in the mail.

But you can still earn money, they just won't send out the payments....

CJ is a lot faster and approves your application immediately, but I think they require the same thing (I'm new to CJ also :))

 Right... Funny how they just accepted me. I wasn't talking about Azoogle; I was speaking of xy7.

I don't have anything to hide. I just dont like giving out my SSN until I am actually making money with the program.

Yeah I agree with that..When I first heard of ValueClickMedia I thought they were a bad program and didn't offer decent payouts, but it is nice :)

That is too bad they bailed like that. It is not like they are a third world dictator talking to Sixty Minutes. Have they even listened to your show? You have always promoted Azoogle anyways, I am not sure why they are so scared. That is pretty disappointing.

Anyways, looking forward to it, if it does happen. I am a few shows behind right now. The Pepperjam shows were full of some really good information.

They are a big company. They know Shoemoney, but like anyone they want to know what kind of questions are going to be asked. Sometimes big companies don't like answering certain questions -- so to not look stupid they like to know what to expect before hand.

Azoogle is not that big of a company. They are not protecting national secrets. Sorry, but their request to get the questions in advance for something that would be a very big promotional vehicle for them and their product is highly suspect at best.

If they want to know what kinds of questions might be asked, they could spend a few minutes listening to some back issues of the show. It just scares me a bit that a company whose whole business model is based around promotion and selling would make such a amateur marketing move like this.

Usama Bin Laden talking to Geraldo Rivera might have a reason to get questions in advance. Azoogle talking to Shoemoney, no, sorry it does not fly.

I don't see any issue with it. As for some reasons. Shoemoney said in the past that he has pressed them pretty hard -- this could be a reason for wanting questions in advanced. Companies don't like to look stupid, and they don't like to have their flaws exposed.
