Thanks for sharing. I'm a big fan of using listservs for getting .edu backlinks. They are DoFollow unlike blog commenting.

I definitely concur.

I'm sure if you can find .edu nofollow links related to your niche, they can't hurt, but can they really help is another question.

To the OP: All of the .edu links I've found were nofollow. I bookmarked your site though. Thanks!

The second link "free .EDU links click here!" is just an advanced google search (enter something and watch the results). Unfortunately, most of the edu sites are also nofollow, so think hard before spending time on comments :)

Not to throw cold water on this but I just searched 'travel' and only 1 of the first 4 results were dofollow sites. Is this maintained?

Do you guys think .edu blog links equal regular .edu links?

I think blog links might be a bunch of junk, since anyone could post on a blog..... its not really a "vote"....I understand its buzz... but its probably discounted heavily

This is a great tool. However, I did get some mixed results. The majority of the sites I found have nofollow. But I did find a few sites that don't have the nofollow tag. Its database may be a bit outdated. But it is still a great tool to use. Thanks for sharing.

I have just searched for few popular keywords... and only ~20% of blogs were dofollow... while most of them dissabled comments.

In my opinion - it is waste of time to spend 30mins to get few links from spammed blogs :|

.EDU backlinks are nofollow.

Most edu links are nofollow. It's a lot easier to just blog comment on something relevant to your niche.

I have been trying hard to keep the dofollow blog finder nofollow free but there are so many comment spammers that webmasters are disabling the dofollow plugin on their blogs :( So please don't spam!

i have been working for some Clients in Education and Language niche and i manually search and check sites to know the quality of the website , as far as my knowledge and experience is concerned , i do not think this tool work . you have to select Quality by your own and have to contact and make the webmaster agreed to put a Link ( they
too not agree to link after a payment offer ) .
