I need a fresh and exciting logo concept for a site called:
Family Gab

Its a website for family members to visit with each other, share photos and chat.

The logo and name can either be integrated together or just next to each other.

Attached is the color scheme I had in mind for the site and logo, but I am not 100% committed to it, so feel free to offer something with different colors.

I will pay $70 via PayPal as soon as I find a winning design. If no winner is found after a week, I will give the best design $20 for the effort - but I am sure that like all my other contests one of you will take the $70 prize. Final design will be needed in both print and web resolutions.

Interesting stuff so far guys. One idea I had is if someone was able to use the name and make the "G" some how be a head talking. I would love to see someone try that.

Thank you all for your entries. No winner yet. Still hoping someone can take a shot at making the 'G' look like a head talking.

Anyway, here is my feedback on those that have entered so far:

Aderain: Nice looking text. The coffee mug doesn't work for me.

Proficent: I like the circles but not crazy about the fonts.

Xual: very nice looking. I like the colors. But missing something. Maybe add a logo/icon.

Olivess: very unique. Thanks for the entry.

Neonic: Not bad. its cute. I like the talking heads.

ankur0412: sorry not my style at all.

sobit: its different. but doesn't seem right for this. Also a little too boxy overall.

shammuptr: not working for me. there are more features then I mentioned in the post so using those three will not work. also too tall and box shaped.

praat33k: I think you forgot to post your entry. I don't see it.

shadylady (PM): not bad. can you remove the sphere and then pull the people up a little higher so you can see the middle one?

creations4you: My favorite so far. can you try a capital G? and maybe do another version with the the bubbles to the right of the text?

my223cc: the photo background makes it too square it would be hard to design into a site. i like the silhouettes though - maybe take the background out. The text is really bad though.

anidesign: cute, but don't really fit the site concept. maybe try a talk bubble instead of the squares in the second one.

futtbucker: very nice looking but I don't think it will fit the site concept.

Panic! I really like the idea of the word "gab" in the talk bubble but not liking the look of either word though - maybe different fonts and colors.

ramoscratos: the bubbles look good, but I don't really like the rest much.

The text I have used can't do capital letters so I made the 'G' bigger to make it look capital letter. On the bottom logo I put the icon on the right and made the icon more brighter.
