I want to back order a domain which is expiring in another two months.

Presently the domain is for sale at BuyDomains.com
The domains is 5 years old and has 3 registrars and 1 drop history.
Currently domain is registered through DOMAINDISCOVER.

I do not think anyone else will be interested to buy that domain.

Does anyone have an idea what buydomains will do with the domain which is unsold and going to expire.

Which will be the best domain back-ordering service?

Godaddy and network solutions's backordering service is good. The funds are credited back to your account in case if the backordering service fails to register the domain in question.

Well, to be precise, don't assume that you will get that domain so easily. If the domain is popular, the domain owner will not let it go easily. They will surely renew it before the expiry date.

It would only be a negligence on the part of the domain owner if they do not renews the domain on time. However, even if the domain has expired, registrars still hold the domain for 10 to 15 days grace period before it goes into redemption period.

The domain owner can still renew the domain in these 10-15 days or alternatively, pay the redemption charges to claim the domain.

And if after the redemption period is over, the domain is marked as deleted and is made available for the public to register it again.

You can find more information on domain back ordering at http://ruchie.com/go.php?id=backorderdomains

I hope that helps you friend.

Use Snapnames / namejet.
Godaddy never gets the name that i backordered even it is just an ordinary name.

However, if it is owned by BuyDomains now, i doubt it will be slipped out from their hands.

I used to want to backorder an ordinary name which is on BuyDomains, and BuyDomains renewed it just right on its expiration date.
