I've been trying to use allintitle the last few days, but get the 'your request looks like an automated request from spybot' etc. message.
Any allintitle tool I can find online is also broken.
Allinanchor works fine for me, but I need some allintitle stats.
Does it work for anyone else? Would you be prepared to run some quick checks on ten keywords in return for a rep?!
Thanks!

It's not dead at all, you can simply try searching allintitle using a different keywords and phrases and it will work dude..
It's a matter of resource saving by Google, and it's only related to your current public IP Address ;)
Hope i was helpful, REP is most appreciated.

Just remember to delete your cookies and try again. You could have too many requests maybe and Google doesn't like that?
Also if you're using automated tools like SEOquake Google sometimes sees too many searches as potential bots spamming. So turn off the yahoo links and google links in Seoquake and try again.

That error was pertaining to a Google filter against multiple query request for short period of time. Some viruses and warez causing this, your computer might need some scanning and cleaning.

Yeah, I use SEOQuake &RankTracker and figured it was probably down to that...
Have cleared my cookies and reset my router for a new IP - it's just let me do two checks, before blocking me again :(
Looks like it's going to be a bit of a tedious task this one...!
Thanks for all the help everyone

Allintitle is one of the various criteria I use to work out how competitive a particular keyword is. As most people probably know, having your keywords in your page title is one of the main factors in ranking for that keyword (along with keyword in anchor text of links pointing to the page, and keyword within correctly structured content on the page.)
In this case, two terms have very similar search volumes, but one has 27000 allintitle results, the other has 570! Therefore, I'll direct my energies at the second one, because I stand a better chance of ranking well...
