Problems with affiliate links in Blogger??

Hi all,

I just tried adding an Allposters affiliate link to my blogger blog's sidebar, and it's not working. It works beautifully when I preview it in blogger itself, but when I actually load the page, it appears in a badly oversized white box that's a) way too wide (it blows my sidebar completely in IE and forces the whole thing to the bottom of the page) and b) not tall enough, so it cuts off the link text itself.

It works, it just looks ugly as hell. Is this some kind of known blogger issue, or have I managed to do something dumb in the process of cutting and pasting?

can you provide us with a link so we can check it out for ourselves ?

The blogger templates generally use classes for all links... try using the same class as the rest of your navigation.

This is basically a practice site - done for fun and to pick up some rudimentary skills while preparing to launch the site I really want to do right.

With that in mind, any other thoughts that occur to you on things I could be doing better to build traffic, increase click through rates, etc. would also be welcome.

Problem solved.

It was a truly trivial problem too, as evidenced by the fact that I figured it out on my own after getting a useless "gosh, we don't know, check with your web designer" response from Allposter's affiliate team.

I knew the problem was in the width and height descriptions. And I noticed that, everywhere else in the template, width and height figures had a "px" after them, but the Allposter code simply said style="width:125;height:249;

So I put "px" after both numbers and now it works like a charm. Why? I don't know. But anyway, it works. Thanks everyone. In case someone else having this problem comes upon this...try that.
