Your Article Submission Strategy

Ok folks, in my short tenure here, I've figured out that getting backlinks to your new site is like one of the top things you do to get some visibility on your site. I already have SOME social networking going on as I have a few icons under each of my posts on my blog. And since I'm a FB member, I post my articles there using their RSS feed.

Now I must admit, I feel a little overwhelmed by the amount of social bookmarking sites posted here in this forum. It's like :confused: :eek: :cool: :lol:.

It seems quite time consuming to have to log into all of these sites to post your article. Honestly, I need that time to focus on developing my content for my site and learning other SEO strategies.

So how many sites do you belong to?

Do you submit all of your posts to these sites daily?

What, if any measurable value have you received from doing so?

I'm think of using Socialmarker to help me with this. Is this a good idea?

I use EZineArticles, Submit Your Article, Article Marketing Automation, Unique Article Wizard, and ISnare (although it's been buggy lately...) I'm considering using Article Marketer in place of ISnare in the future.

I submit different articles to each service. SYA, AMA, and UAW all include article spinning - I use them mostly for backlinks (any direct traffic is a bonus.) EZA is more for direct traffic (backlinks as a cool side effect.)

Thanks for your response. I haven't heard of these. I was specifically asking about Social Bookmarking sites. I guess I will look into these too.

If you're looking to develop a list of social bookmarking sites you want to submit to on a mass format I would suggest looking into Bookmarking demon, it's stand alone software that allows you to submit to many, many sites at once.

I saw that software on a page that did a review on SocialMarker.

It is better to submit your site by means of manual in fact social bookmarking is very easy to use you just put the bookmarklet in to your firefox bookmark toolbar.
