No. you will not get banned for interlinking your sites with in one host. It will increase your back links but links from same IP address dont effect on pagerank.

Then if one buys a reseller hosting, and host all his sites on it, linking with each of the site, would it be consider under same IP/ same host?

It will be counted as internal link.
This means this does help, but that much... :)

I'd make sure you only link sites that are related. Don't put out site wide footer links. Instead, pick pages where the content is related and the link would be valuable to your visitors.

So what if sitewide? What will happen?

Interlinking is very good if you mean linking inside one website, from subpages to the mainpage. You can easily build up PR2 only witch proper internal linking inside one website

But anyway if you think about cross linking to your other websites within one IP, be carefull with crosslinking, only one way links, it works fine.

If you do in SEO business and have sites for SEO purposes only you don`t should crosslinking cos if one of your domain will be banned by gogole for example, this one you will linkt to will probably has some troubles too.

Anyway anyone in any cas should avoid crosslinking it is well knowed practise in SEO, too much risk from google, when something goes wrong with any of your crosslinked site.

I had 12 crosslinked websites ,one of them get banned, not long after others was removed from google`s index too.

Only one way linking

This is true I know many people who have had this same problem recently, google used to not treat sites this way but now when you cross link sites from 1 ip and 1 site is ban or penelized it does indeed effect the others now.

Did you tried services like Gotlink or telalinks ?

They give you one way links for free, the only thing you should do for Gotlink is create subpage where they run some kind of link directory. They give you aprox 5 thousand links, most of them are on other IPs.

Own hundred`s of servers ,everyone on other IP is too much expense for anyone of us (:, you should look for some kind of network where you can put for free one way do follow links.

Yeah I agree with the first response it will help with your backlinks but have no effect on your page rank. The best thing to do is fine a bunch of sites and get some links on the header or footer of the sites.

Stick to White (or at least gray) hat tactics of SEO.

If your looking for a good and affordable SEO host, try Indianets.com. They have a very affordable shared SEO hosting plan with different c-class ips. If you go to the services>webhosting section of DP, your bound to find some of their threads and offers. I have several wp sites and large database intensive sites hosted there that perform well and the customer service is great.

Its a good option if yous looking for SEO hosting.
