A new search engine (search technology company) has received venture funding from the state of Kansas

It will be interesting to see where that goes.
There was a long thread on one of the other forums started by a guy who was totally pissed off at Google because it only returned the first 1,000 sites for any given search term. Actually now that I remember his arguements he and Anthony should team up because this guy thought Google shpuld be sued for so obviously favouring the top 1,000 sites. He claimed it was blatant discrimination against million of other site they didn't give access to.
Imagine his response to a search engine that is designed to give you less rather than more.

Clustered results and more relevant results seem to be the trend Bob.
This is where the market is going, to "so called natural language" (or how a human would sort results) results.
So what ever the other guy has to say really means nothing to me Bob.
The moral of the story is this, Google is a big target, 10 years from now they will be lucky to have 10% of total searches worldwide.
Vertical portals and vertical searches and Superpower companies are all threats to Google. :eek:
