20 Dollar Simple Logo Contest ASAP!!!!

My pride and joy www.greatsitestovisit.com needs a logo. Now we review great sites and feel that our redesign of the site itself has done great for us but alas we have a "place holder" for our logo at the header and at the footer of our design.
What we are looking for is a logo that fits our site in both theme and content.
We are looking for a simple but clean logo that will fit our needs and the prize is 20.00 by paypal.

Design:
1 logo that fits header and footer.
Rules:
Need the PSD's for both
All designs will be copyright ours and can not be reproduced
Prize:
20.00 by paypal upon agreement
If you have a site we will review it for our members with mention to the design of the logo
A one way link in our sidebar that is site wide to your site

If you are interested please post the logo using a screenshot of our site with it. Watermark it, protect it what ever you wish but we must be able to see it in a screenshot to see if it will work.
This is needed ASAP so please give your best.

These are nice but not what our goal is, we don't want to replace the words that are laid out in the system. We are looking for a logo that will fit in the placeholder image that is preexisting within the design.

Those are just presentation so that you can see how the logos will look on your current website.. The final files you get will be the one with the required size of a logo.. :)

hey hazard i like the look of yours but the logo is set to high on the mark, sayasatria yours would place more for a tv tube and does not rep. a review site. Hipstick like what you were going for but may be to busy for what my readers actually look at.

These are good - as for the simple ones at the top of page two they dont fit the overal theme or goal, our design is more grunge and we have decided to stay away from the shiny old web 2.0 day's look.

I got a pm saying that the text limits really have a top side logo. I agree so side type logos are accepted as well with name and slogan under it and we will just rebuild the header to fit this.

to bennyjh - i put my two cents in on the whole "shiny" "web 2.0" style logos as those are not my goal, to hazard and saya. these i like but to both the G is a mark that reminds me of google and i do not need to piss off that giant since they are the ones who's profits are paying for this as for hazard shift the words more center and the "dice" somehow to stand out to saya. make the g more away from a google look or make it work with GSTV
also they both don't have the right "scheme" in color for the words it almost stands out to much for the design.
I am looking to annouce either close or a winner pretty quick so please let me know.

Here i try again
In this header i make blog title font smaller than before.
I avoid Google 'G' and using diferent font more bigger and doesn't have spired or too rounded like Google 'G'...

I also reduce the globe opacity.. to avoid crowded design.

saya. i like the third one but the great sites to visit is still off not sure but it doesn't work right. moonwalker you can get rid of the text but as for the logo to much like a soccer club style logo.

the first curent font will be look like Google 'G' in 'Great'. So i use that One...
But i'll try some font...

i like number 2 saya, i think the glow is a little much and the map could be pushed a little more to the logo text, eliminate the tv portion and lighten the gs on the pad to a little darker then a watermark

This will be closed tomorrow - Either a winner will be chosen or not
