Hi

I am wondering why there is a difference between my organic search results and the onces that are displayed when i use my API tool. Will the results eventually be displayed as they are when use the API tool. Or is it the other way around.

When you use the API, Google determines which data center it's going to query.

And that data center isn't necessarily the one you would be routed to if you were to do a regular search on Google.

So the results you see while using the API are live...somewhere

Hope I don't need to be called crazy to post here :)

I've found the API results are often a sight of things to come, I have no evidence at all to back this wild claim up

My theory is that the API reports the number of pages that are deep crawled and fully indexed. When I run a site command from google I get a bigger number of pages but many of them are just urls and are not yet indexed.
