Recovery Plus Site Specs
This site will be for a rehab center company, Recovery Plus. Recovery Plus is the parent company and will be building 15 subsidiary locations (treatment centers) over the next 5 years. The first treatment center is named Mountian View Center. This site will consist of 3-4 separate wordpress compatible page designs, but will use consistent creative elements, so entrants need only design a home page for the contest, but will agree to complete the other pages upon winning the contest.

The Recovery Plus business model is THE affordable luxury rehab center, with massages, chef, recreational areas, workout center/spa, etc. The objective of the site is to generate leads and get clients in the door, so the inquiry form will be a run of site feature.

jnjnnino: I want something stylish and elegant. Something with some nice design work and very 2.0. perhaps glossy or shaded navigation buttons

I'm having a hard time finding a great example of the design element I would like to see, but look at the logo on this photography site. Notice the swirling lines, and kind of botanical look. Client does not like "fruity flowers", but it is a rehab center where people come to recover and relax, so I want a peaceful and serene look and feel. Use cool colors. Not over the top (like a spa), but very professional and rejuvenating.


Don't let your creativity be controlled by these examples, but notice the stylish influence.

Thanks for the message but i dont do coding, i can code but it does my head in - main problem i have is keeping divs centered on 3 major browsers - so i dont bother i leave it to the expert if you have any psd single page design contests i may be interested especially if its a fun contest (i dont do financial templates they bore me).

I am sorry for being unclear. This contest is for the design only. No coding is required.

The end product will be a full blown website. I use WordPress as the content management system. See what I am doing here (http://woodyshardwoodflooring.com/) for a better understanding (although it is a work in progress)

Your entry is a good start. Try to make it more glossy, and pop a little more. A little more 2.0. Try using a few accent colors. The client really likes this site (http://www.holidaytouch.com/).

ritesh2408: Thanks for your interest. $100 is for the entire design project. As I mentioned, for the purposes of the contest, you will only need to design the home page. However, if your design is selected, I will need 3-4 similar pages created. They will use the same design elements, just the layout will change a little; so it's not like you will need to create 3-4 completely new pages.

Brainwaves: Nice entry. I like the layout, but these bright colors don't go very well with the logo. I like how the curved green line draws attention to the form I want users to fill out.

The photos you used look great (although the globe is again too bright). They compliment the logo nicely. I would like to see you use colors that match the logo better, using a plum or maroon accent (maybe even something toward the red family). I also think a cream color might work well in certain areas (notice how it works with the teal in the picture)

Is the font you used on the form header from the logo? It looks a little off; maybe because it's bold.
