backlinks take time crazy

hi everybody newbie there :)

well since 1 year i made a lot of pages change them but all the time pages are alone no linking

now i change i made links to a menu nicer but more than 2 000 pages to do.

now i have 2 troubles

1- most of them have PR 0

2- my menu page is update every day when i can i put more infos inside but all links are PR 0

today I have 13 Backlinks (most of them are PR 0 in yahoo altavista and MSN none in Google :confused: )

but every day i'm going to link new pages (do you think all those 2 000 pages linking to menu give me 2 000 Backlinks ?)

does it help me to grow up PR please ?

Linking to your own homepage is slightly benefiticial, but I am not sure if it's worth the effort...

Google takes ages to update backlinks... I have 0 on google too.

my menu page was open 2 days ago and some of mimes linking page have 2 years old i think it takes time to google and all others motors to see all links and i put more and more links everyday
