$100 logo/mascot logo design contest! Paypal

The logo will be for geekadviser.com.
This blog provides Technology, Gadgets, Hardware, and Software news, reviews and tips with daily updates.
The logo must work on a white background, and must also work on a transparent background.
The image needs to scale up and down without losing resolution/quality.
Payment will be via paypal.
This competition will close when the winning entry is submitted.
Please make your submissions within this thread.

It'd be best if you could provide some samples of the mascot you have in mind. This way, we, the designers would strike it right away and wont be wasting time on stuffs we thought you would like.

walterj: I see that you paid the other guy on DP for that website, so your first transaction went smoothly, but I have a feeling that having only 1 itrader will limit the number of people that post in your contest... A lot of design contests get abandoned here, so designers are a bit weary of wasting their time in contests that are started by new DP members...

I'm not saying you're going to ditch the contest, but I'm just letting you know that for someone with 1 itrader and no reputation, a $100 contest is a big one for DP...
