$20 caricature / sketch contest

I need an original caricature or sketch of the actor Morgan Freeman - it does not have to be polished, in fact, a paper sketch that is scanned in and posted here could very likely win if it fits our needs the best.

Please do not take images from other artists and manipulate it to make it your own - for this contest, I really an original piece. It is okay if it is not detailed or polished.

@Vebtools: OH SORRY! That is a sketch? That is pretty good - what medium did you use? I was looking for something a little more playful - that is why I wanted some thing along the lines of a caricature or line art (colored or not colored) ... sorry about that - LOL :o

Hello everyone - I apologize for the delayed feedback. This contest is closed to new contestants. Since I did not have a chance to offer feedback before the contest closed, I am offering feedback now and will call the winner tomorrow at this same time.

Here is the feedback on all the designs submitted so far:

f0zzilz - simple, sweet, brought a smile to my face ... it could work. Please let me know what would be involved to make the image more detailed - I think I would like for it to be just a bit more detailed ... if there is a cost PM me so that I can consider that, as you are in the top 3.

Vebtools - thanks for the entry, but I wanted something that was fun and almost cartoonish, so this would not really work for my need

zyndtel - nice sketch - it is a little less developed than the other designs in the pool, but I can still see that this has good potential ... please let me know what would be involved to make this sketch more detailed, if it is a cost, PM me and let me know - also, I loved how you made the character a full body!

Bushranger - again, thanks for the entry, but I wanted something that was fun and almost cartoonish, so this would not really work for my need

b***e - I love it! very nice, it's fun and it just looks great, I would say this is either #1 or #2 right now - please let me know what would be involved to colorize it, if there is a cost, please PM so that I can consider that when calling a winner

c***l - I do like your style, however it will not work for this project ... will be in touch with you if I ever need an image that fits that style, thank you!

l***y - I really like the sketch ... you did great keeping the lines simple yet really expressing emotion in the facial features ... please let me know what would be involved to colorize it, if there is a cost, please PM so that I can consider that when calling a winner

I am sorry for not posting sooner, I know my previous post said I would announce as of 3 hours ago. I apologize for the delay, as with all of us, the days are very busy and going through and organizing contest entries is very time consuming and when you have a family, a business, a husband's business, puppies, and all else life brings you, sometimes contest announcements get delayed. I am sorry, I did not mean any harm by saying I would post in 24 hours and then falling short of my promise, as one PM put it.

I have an Internet connection that is always on, my computer is always on, and I am always logged in to DP, even if I am not home. I have worked in design for a long time and I know how it feels to have your work lifted, and I will in no way do that - I will pay for anything I use or even intend to use in the future.

Now, in regards to the winner, it is between two great entries I received via PM - b***e and l***y - both styles are very different and I can't decide between the two because they are both awesome. I want to consult with some people I am working with on this project tomorrow and with some second opinions, I will declare the winner then. If I can't get to the post after exactly 24 hours, please do not freak out, I will be back, and like I said, it is between the two.

Thank you to all the contest entries - your entries were all great, they just did not suit the needs for my project ... I wish you all the best of luck in your future contests - thanks!!
