Sup all here are some ways you may want to consider in building backlinks..

1. Write a generics email for link exchange and send it to all websites related to your niche but aadd a personal comment related to each site so you'll increase your chances on getting a response.

2. Build comments in devianart.com comments on each persons page cuase all their pages have different high pr.

3. Dofollow blog commenting.

4. Go to the beach and scratch in the ground a request for backlink exchange for yrom your local webmasters. This also brings in traffic. The bigger the note the better the chances.

5. Always digg your news pages.

This is just a few interesting ones. Feel free to share your ideas

Hah. Tip 4 is awesome. If I were to find a website etched into the sand I would DEFINITELY check it out. I would just have to know.

Maybe you could also add to 4 - If you come across wet cement, request a backlink with a mention of your site. It will become a permanent ad - just be sure the local authorities can't track you down... hehe
