Yes they are DoFollow.. and resaik_king is right, its not much worth in SERP. But its great if u r promoting some webmaster related services through ur sig. U may get some good traffic.

There is no such thing as dofollow.

And if youre relying on signatures for SEO you're not doing it right.

There is still no such thing as "dofollow" its a made up word/type of link.

...Basically, there is no true “dofollow”, ...

DP signatures are do-follow and does provide good back links instantly.

It is also useful in making your website/blog visible to the strong member base here.

You are missing a portion of the sentence:
Basically, there is no true “dofollow”, it is just NOT using the “nofollow” tag. Pretty simple, eh? (No, I am not Canadian… well, kind of.)

This means the link is automatic a dofollow if you dont have a nofollow tag.... anybody that does SEO work should know this!!!!

I cant tell you how many times I have seen on DP stating something like "here is a list of dofollow blogs!!!!

If your arguement is going to be "Here is a list of dofollow blog" topics that get created around here daily, then I won't bother debating the point. Thanks for playing though.

Again, the term "dofollow" is non-existant to anyone who is worth their weight. Ask around on webmaster forums outside of DP and see what the answer is. Its just a made up antonym of nofollow

Can you apply "dofollow" properties to something? No you can't, so does it exist?

Yes, your DP signature is DoFollow.
You should really install this great extension for Firefox:
http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/ It highlights in red all NoFollow links ;)

interesting point on no such thing as do follow, surely there is nofollow, so what is the reverse?
Can I say, yes DP is not nofollow? :)

There is no such thing as dofollow.

There is still no such thing as "dofollow" its a made up word/type of link.

There is no such thing as a NOFOLLOW link either. It's rel="nofollow" if I am not mistaken, and if words can not evolve and language can not progress, then there is no DP, as it would Digital Point

Seriously, WTF is wrong with people like you two... are you so limited in your ability to understand the progression of concepts that you can't follow along with the line of thoughts within this thread, or are you just being bull headed?

If a link is not nofollow, then what is it? Just a link? Well, what about it's nofollow status?

Blah...and for the record, the googlebot DOES follow any and all links it has access to, regardless of whether or not it says rel="nofollow" so *shrug* I guess there is no such thing as NOFOLLOW either

nofollow is an attribute of the link. How can you say "dofollow" like it exisits if there is no dofollow attribute? All the word is, is a made up antonym of "nofollow"

All dofollow is, is a made up internet slang term.

I suppose one could make that arguement, if the arguement was that nofollow stopped google from following links. However thats not the definition of nofollow nor is that even being argued as everyone knows that google will follow all links regardless of the attributes placed on them. And proof of rel=nofollow being attributed already exists thus making it real.

Go find proof of a rel=dofollow attribute and we'll talk if its real or not. Its made up

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not DP sigs were dofollow or not. Thanks in advance... :p

If anyone is using firefox browser it becomes very easy to check No Follow/Do Follow. The plugin highlights your visited pages if it has DO Follow link.

When i checked it for DP it gave me YES !:p

It seems to help well enough. Check out the auto links in my signature. They all do pretty good in SERP. Though I'm pretty sure they don't pull in much traffic from DP itself though.
