$40 Logo Contest

[Super Sambrook]

Hey All,

I need a new logo for my job site: http://no1job.co.uk

- The logo needs to suit the colour theme
- The Logo needs to say "No.1 Job" you can add an image too if its relevant.
- Size:220px × 149px BUT would like it done Vector
- The contest will last 5 days (I will end the contest earlier if find the right design)
- Payment Via Paypal

I do not want any parts of the current logo to be included as i really do not like it.

ty for the entries - feedback;

@KatesRobyn: Looks cool but how about having No.1 job (with Job underneath No.1) and the symbol in a different place with a differnt font and colours (perhaps in a white and green too), N (in no.) and J (in Job) to be capitals.

@Tightwad: Nice design, Lose the .co.uk and perhaps try another font, the B looks kinda like an 8.

@Tickey: Dont really like the hand symbol, perhaps change it to another and add a border.

Im not to sure how you didnt call this first but so far from what you posted in your original thread every one of those logos are in the wrong size...

The Logo needs to be in the top left (where the current logo is) at the size of 220px × 149px (vector)

Nikola should also know that Vector's can be resized without losing quality.
That is why _all_ my logo's are 100% Vector, so dimensions, are moot to me.

Tightwad your last comment was quite rude and unnecessary. I've been designing longer than you have been alive so trust me when i say i know quite well what a vector is. Vector or not your design is on one primary line which means that when you do resize it you wont lost image quality but your design will leave a lot of empty space. If you felt it rude, that is your perception of what you are reading in to it.
I was neither rude, nor directed my comment at you. I'm stating a fact, period.


I've been designing longer than you have been alive so trust me when i say i know quite well what a vector is.


Fact: when people need to emphasize their experience to draw on it as a point it shows how little they actually have.

Next time you want to try and pass that off, perhaps you should learn what
a logical fallacy is, then I may have believed you. Alas, I don't - and it has
no bearing on this contest.


Vector or not your design is on one primary line which means that when you do resize it you wont lost image quality but your design will leave a lot of empty space.


Every Design is going to leave a lot of empty space (above and below) because of the height - which _still_ has no bearing because of the placement of the actual logo as per the site layout. Sheesh and you've been designing longer than I've been alive???

Your post has only shown how little you do know about design. Don't worry

@ dr@gon: not really what im looking for: dont like the the "o" design part - a different font with an animation would be better.

@ xdexter: looks pretty cool although a darker font colour would be better.

All clip art uploaded to the web is copyrighted. Unless you have permission from the creator of the clip art - you can not use it!

@ gsmile: Needs to be a bit bigger (as per my size req), a bolder font would be better.

@ Zepia: This is a really clever design, i like it.

@ dorarpol: This looks very nice, again a clever design.

@ saema: This design is very good - just cant decide what of your design i like best: the one with the animation or one without - they are both very good :P
