View Full Version : Javascript on all webpages when I 'view source'

Hi
I've started to notice javascript between the <head> </head> tags
of every page I 'View Source' of the web page.

Commented out, it is
/*
<script language='javascript' src='http://127.0.0.1:1025/js.cgi?pa&r=7129'></script>
*/

and variations of this?

Anyone know what this is?
Is it something to do with the Google toolbar I use...popup blocker?
(viewing the .js file concerned suggests this?)

Or is it something else...or am I just a little paranoid ? :confused:

That is looking for an server running on your machine's local port 1025. Interesting, I have no clue beyond that.

If this is not something you do on purpose, you may have a virus. Some of them plug into web servers and add footers or headers that try to infect website visitors. Try hitting your website using the domain name or at least a non-local address and see if the link changes. If it does, disable JS and point your browser to this URL to see what the script does. This should give you the clue on what's going on.

Thanks sadcox66

My firewall is ZoneAlarm.
Looks as if it could be a ZoneLabs Privacy Insertion ,
I'm emailing ZoneLabs to be certain of this.
