Gmail down now , its happens before ?

I saw first time gmail down now. I check gmail but unfortunately shows "Network Error (gateway_error) ". Any face the same problem

Seems more to do with your ISP or Internet connection than Gmail being down. With the resources that Google puts into Gmail, the possibility of it being down is much lesser than your ISP or Internet connectivity of computer having problems

I could not send an attachment through gmail a fortnight ago because of a glitch in the local google server, which itself was acknowledged by the google but gmail down will be one of the rarest happenings...

I don't think Gmail or Google were ever down. Sometimes AdSense goes down, because of maintenance.

Gmail has never been down for me...wish I could say the same for my Uni's e-mail system

The only issues I've had is when opening a lot of accounts in Thunderbird when installed on Windows. Always been able to login to the main site though.

This happened to me last week. But just by intuition I reset my router. It started working fine after that. But I only had gmail open that time. Are the other sites working?

As of this writing, I'm almost certain that there's a problem with Gmail. The page shows up, but can't login.

did you try login via https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount ?
any problem login at individual account (email, adsense, etc), usually no problem login via manage account

Had problems sending mails a few months ago but that was it. I didn't think it was a major problem.

More than sure it was because of your connection. When it hangs up on you and keeps loading forever, refresh the page and everything should be ok from there.
