$150 Design Contest

Hi all,

I need a front page developed for "yearbookonline.co.uk".

The design must be simple and clean looking. I have a header designed please use the on the page below.

The page should use colours which are easy on the eye.

There should be room for a 250x250 video on the right of the page, with bullet points on the left.

There should also be room for information and a place for people to place there email address and name for a newsletter on the left.

I like designs which have central pages, so there shouldn'y be anything on the extreme left or right.

The winner will get more work from me for the same website.

Contest finishes when i find a suitable design and as usual i reserve the right not to pick a winner.

I will get in on this design....Do you have any particular pages that you like?

Also, as I have said before do you know what type of platform this will be coded in? As I like to try to design to meet the coding requirments.

This will be coded in html/css.

I will try and find some designs, can't think of any of the top of my head though...

The text is hard to read.

I would like a full page length layout

Also the colours don't fit very well IMO.

On the whole i don't think this design would be worth $150 considering i have provided the logo.

Hi all sorry for the delay.

Sinstrex : Really like this design, could you maybe work on adding some icons and removed the video space and add a "want more information" space where people can enter their name and address?

Bishop : Sorry i'm looking for a blue colour scheme.

Exupery : Could you do the same as Sinstrex please?

I have created this. Using sand-colors, because almost EVERY color fits that color :)

Sorry, I think it is a scam.

There was another contest posted December 11th, also about creating a design for yearbookonline.

That thread's price was $475.

Since CH is the same, and contest was without an end too, what is the difference if the contest is for subpages or for the main page?

Because these Contest Holders are always trying to rip people off, this is like the 4th fucking contest I've recently been involved in where the CH skips the fuck out. =/

Well.. If that is the reason (wich I think it is, read my post #47), then the creator of this thread and other people that does the same, should have a RED username with the label "Banned" below.
