$50 Logo Design Contest - 48 hours

I need an eye catching logo designed for my real estate investing membership site I'll be launching soon. It needs to look very professional and a logo that will look good in print and on the web. I want it to be a memorable logo.

The membership site is for real estate investors that are looking to invest in cash flowing wholesale properties. The site has every tool that an investor would need in order to "Take Action" in investing. Therefore the name of the membership is Take Action Real Estate. I'm not sure whether we'll be using the domain TakeActionRealEstate.net or TakeActionRealEstateInvesting.com, but I own both domains.

$50 US via PayPal to the winner

I don't really have a layout or color scheme in mind as of yet.

What I'd like is a logo for our site with a suitable favicon (16x16 and/or 32x32), that can be used for both web & print (300 dpi). As far as deliverables, I'll need the source vector doc (for resizing, possible color change) of both the logo and the favicon and any non-common fonts used (since photoshop/illustrator like to replace them).

The contest will run until Dec 17th.

I will give feed back throughout the day as I'm available. I'll probably be using the winner of these contest for some additional logo work I need done soon.

I forgot to mention that the logo doesn't necessarily have to have some type of house icon in it. If it does, cool, if not, I'm pretty open until I see some entries.

Well I'll have a go...
works both in color and black and white, perfect for print, none of the glosses/reflections which would just not fit a professional real estate company.
The roof also represents an "A" for action.

Heres mine, fav icon will be the house which I will make if I am selected. Colours can easily be changed if you wish, was going for something simple, elegant and professional.

Ok guys, here is some feedback:

simplyg123 - The logos are tad too busy for what we're looking for

jmdesigns - The logo is a little too simple, not memorable enough

tightwad - (1st design) - I'd like to see what happens if you put the sunset overt the entire top portion of the logo and maybe try a different font and colors

jokommamita - I don't care for the first design with the globe. There is something that I like about the check mark in your second design that makes me think about "taking action." but something is missing I can't put my finger on

sandeepramje - The logo is very bold and there is something I like about the fonts you used. Can you build on this concept a little. I'm not sure what's missing but the fonts look really nice

Pixobox - I like the flow of the fonts, but I don't necessarily care for the little symbol. Can you try another symbol?

itrungs - its not memorable enough. Doesn't make me think of real estate

jnjnnino - too busy, the graphics need to be a bit simpler and I don't like dollar signs.

scoopy82 - I like this logo. I'd like to see this in a different font and maybe a couple of other colors

shadyy1 - I don't care for the dollar signs. can you also switch the colors and put take action on top as opposed to on the bottom and play with another font?

watari - very colorful. doesn't really make me think of real estate though : )

tightwad - something is throwing me off with the symmetry of this logo

rahudev - the logo is too busy

bidzapbiz - this logo is not memorable enough. its almost too simple to remember.

I really like the direction you are taking with your design sandeepramje. It feels like it is just missing a little something. Something very subtle... not too much. It is definitely in the right direction I'm looking for.

How the heck do you get anti-drug from a rooftop? :confused: The name of the business maybe, but the logo itself is a great representation of real estate. I say great job sandee!
