When I search one of my keywords in MSN, my site is in the top 10 list. But I can not find my site in top 1000 list when I use google to search. But if I use another keyword, MSN and google both list my site in top 10.
My site is online since Oct last year, I wonder what's the reason. Am I in google's sandbox.

First on MSN doesnt mean that your site will rank first on Google as well. You could use DP's keyword tracker to see whether it is even listed in the top 1000 or try googlerankings.com. The MCdar tool is under construction so you wont be able to use that one. I would like to take a look for you but then i need some more info on the words your targetting and the name/url of the website.

Thanks for your reply.
My website is http://www.share-games.com . And the keyword which is good in Google and MSN is "addicting games", another keyword is free download games.

Many Thanks.

Well to be honest as you might have noticed its easier to rank well on msn then on google. When did you start adding BL's to this site?

I always exchange link with other webmasters to get some BL after the site is online. I have more than 10,000 links in Yahoo. But only 200 in G :(

Well still i would like to know when did you actually start adding backlinks for this site? BTW i checked msn for the keyword your targeting and the base url that showed me around the 1500 BL's and none in Google. I would continue adding backlinks and keep checking your rankings. Eventaully your site will show up. Whether that means your in the sanbox , i dont know.

Am I in google's sandbox.Yep, the site is showing all the characteristics of being in the sandbox. One example - even for an exact search for blocks of text taken off your home page it comes low in the SERPs, below sites with a blank toolbar PR.

But when I search "addicting games", my site is listed in the first page, Why?

And how long will a site be in sandbox? 3 months ? Half a year? How can I get out of the horrible thing quickly?

Thanks!

Thanks!Oh! I didn't check that. I thought you had said you couldn't find your site in the top 1000 for your keywords. Looks like you can now.

MSN is the easiest to get listed on. Get more links from Sites that have good ranking in Google, focus on your content and targeting, and you will see better results.
