Which affiliate program is best overall? And why?
Im looking for some actual informative posts here, not just one liners which seem to be so common
Not just highest payout, but best service, program etc etc

Hi Prawn, I suggest you taking a look at www.MoreNiche.com if you want to see something different from the usual stuff.
Since you seem to be from Australia, I can already see two good products you could promote from MoreNiche straight away with relatively little competition. With the resources and training we give, it will be very easy for you.
So in two words, we probably provide one of the best training - 10's of guides and videos to get you started not to mention dedicated affiliate managers that will work with you one-on-one.
Up to 45$ in signup bonuses.
p.s. we need some Australian affiliates that would be willing to promote some weight loss products over there :)

Sandis is right, I can only confirm his words. All that he says is truth about MoreNiche - best support and big commissions. I get paid by them every 2 weeks.

The affiliate program is Easy Date – a top program in the dating segment! Easy Date represents some of the best dating sites on the Internet and with over 5 million members you can be sure that they are highly converting which means more money in your pocket at the end of the month. Easy Date is flexible when it comes to your earnings – you choose what type of program you sign up for. If you were to have any queries – simply contact their top support or send a question to your very own dedicated affiliate manager. Don’t miss out on this one!

Well, which niche are you looking at? Each niche generally has a stellar affiliate program. But to look for the "best" overall, that will be harder to nail down.

What is the business about?
ACME People Search is a search engine
that is used to find people, get reverse phone lookups, get background checks, etc.
When you sign up, you get your very own acme people search engine. The search engine is embedded with affiliate links. If someone uses your search engine and purchases a product, you
get a commission. It's that simple. The key is to advertise your search engine to targeted prospects.
There are THREE steps you must complete in order to see the FULL earning potential of your search
engine:
1) AFFILIATIZE (sign up for affiliates of your search engine)
2) MONETIZE (get a domain to host and
BRAND your search engine, GDI is a good option as you get residual income)
3) ADVERTISE (tell the world about your search engine, FREE PPC advertising included but there is a small monthly fee to have 100% display rate of your ads and upkeep of the database)
It is critical to complete ALL three steps to make the most money.
The REFERRAL Program
- $125 for just signing up!
- up to $30 per referral depending on how long they stay on and how many complete ALL the steps
- you can gain a residual income from
GDI as the 2nd step requires a domain to host your search engine
- paid twice a month with
$200 minimum
Why this program?
- an industry that is growing rapidly
- EXCELLENT support (the owner personally answers ALL questions in a timely manner)
- easy to follow back office
- you make money ( I have tried many affiliate programs
---> SpiderWeb, GDI, uVme AND I have made more money with acme people search than with ALL these
combined)
Negatives
- not for a beginner in internet marketing unless you are willing to learn and work hard
- not enough marketing tools, but that is changing soon
(this might be a plus to some because it forces you to be creative)
- NOT a get rich quick scheme
How have I done?
- my search engine has brought in a few hundred dollars in 4 months (not bad considering I don't advertise it that much)
- referrals ---> around $2500 in 4 months and over 300 referrals
I highly recommend this program to anyone seeking an extra income. Don't even bother if you are lazy.
Yes, you do need to learn and work, but that's the fun part. If it's fun, it's not work anymore.
Email me, post here or ask to see my blog for more details.
Happy Holidays to All!

It doesn't even matter what is "best". It matters what you can bring to your audience, and finding programs that will make you money can be totally different than a program that makes someone else money.
I can make a ton of money selling commodities like Printer Ink and Toner, and you can make a ton of money selling specialty items like Organic Steaks. And I'm sure there are guys doing way better than me in the niches and 1,000's wishing they could make 10% of what I pull.
If you really want to understand how to make money from an affilaite program/network look at the backend. See what is involved as an advertiser.
And most of the time the default marketing tools need to be revamped and customized to fit your own sites.
So "Best" is irrelevant. If a company is legitmate and pays a fair rate... provides the linking tools you need... the "Best" is up to you!

I'd have to say these are the best and most trustworthy for me. I've been paid on time by them and they don't give me much of a hassle.
