Tapanti

Google has finally heard the clamor of all of its publishers and has implemented 2 new ways of payment!

Electronic Funds Transfer (https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=15918)

&

Secured Express Delivery (https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=15922)

IMO this is one of the greatest improvements of the program in years.

GO GOOGLE!

Apparently options and details for delivery change enormously from account to account, but I won't disclose details of mine until I have checked the new and modified TOS (https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms)... you never know who's looking. ;)

Same here; no BETA option.

I sure hope that this BETA option doesn't follow the "beta" rules at google where you have to wait several years to be widely available...

I think google made these changes because there scared of people switching to Yahoo! Contextual Ads when its relased :)

Floatin on cloud nine! Finally, direct bank deposit. (in 15 countries only, for those of you who don't see the option). Happy happy days! And many thanks to Yahoo for the increased competition that spurred this on!

For US publishers Paypal would have been slower than having EFT. EFT deposits directly into your bank account without the need for an intermediary.

Probably only ppl are getting this BETA feature, which already asked the support for alternative paying methods... ;)

I am from germany (yep, it's on the list, ofc) and I can (and will :) ) use direct bank deposit, too!

That's SO great... :)

But I want the money in my paypal account :) I would have just withdrew the money from the bank.

Fantastic news :)

I've finally got my PIN off Google (it took over 3 weeks!) and wasn't looking forward to the same long haul getting a cheque. I've signed up for the Bank transfer method but still can't work out when Google will send the money? As I only just got my PIN does this mean that last months earnings will be sent next month? If so will they roll them together with this months earnings or send as two payments? Needless to say I emailed Google about this and the reply was so vague as to be worthless

Cheers

Glad you can get the wire payment. I am just across the border and can't do it!

So, will this new EFT do away with the currency conversion fees that our UK bankers like to rob us of? Whatever - the cheques (checks) can even be sent in Sterling now - Yeehah :D

In wiretransfer, the sender need to pay the commission and not the receiver. Hence google will pay the commision and you will get your money in the bank.

I am in Canada as well. I haven't even looked for the payment options. Cheque is fine by me. It arrives in a timely fashion and clears immediately...it's all good by me.

Finally they have listened or got too may complaints from big hitters.

ADs now allows payment electronically. It's in Beta and as usual will probably stay in Beta for the next 5 years).
Check your account profile / payment.

This is great news for some non US publishers (not all countries are covered) as even with a lousy exchange rate it probably beats check clearance costs / time spend on it.

Also there are some slight changes in the TOS.

It looks to me as if revenue share my be under threat asn the rules on other advertising alongside ADs have slightly changed.

I did something similar. Was off DP for 12 hours and read a few posts in the morning about Ad Links. So I asked what Ad Links where and they all thought I was joking...

Strange!
I thought i saw that option when i signed up for adsense last month, but i can't be bothered since it costs me $20 - $30. I really don't understand why this matter is brought on today ?
---( am i dreaming of it when i signed up? or has that option been there and no one at DP really notice until today ?)
